Try Leap Drop-In Gymnastics
New to Leap Gymnastics? Start with a drop-in session before choosing a regular weekly class.
Try Leap drop-ins are structured, coach-led recreational gymnastics classes for new families who would like to experience Leap before registering for a regular weekly program. Sessions are offered for different age groups at selected times throughout the year.
Participants receive coached instruction in age-appropriate foundational gymnastics skills, using equipment and progressions suited to their age, experience, and readiness.
How Drop-Ins Differ From Regular Programs
Each drop-in is a structured recreational gymnastics class. However, drop-ins are standalone sessions and do not provide the continuous age-based curriculum, regular attendance, consistent coaching or class-to-class skill progression of Leap’s weekly recreational programs.
Regular recreational programs operate from September to June with month-to-month enrolment. Children may join during any month where space is available.
Families who would like ongoing weekly gymnastics instruction and progressive skill development can register for a regular Leap program. To maintain the structure of those classes, Leap does not place trial participants within regularly scheduled programs. Instead, new families can book a Try Leap drop-in session.
Attendance and Gymnastics Ontario Registration
Families may book more than one available drop-in session while deciding whether a regular Leap program is the right fit for their child.
If a child attends Leap Gymnastics for more than three visits during the Gymnastics Ontario membership year, including through drop-ins, camps, classes, or other Leap activities, Leap will contact the family and charge the $50 annual Gymnastics Ontario participant registration fee.
The Gymnastics Ontario membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. The fee is charged once per participant during that period and is separate from drop-in fees.
