Birthday Parties
Celebrate your child’s special day with a coach-led gymnastics birthday party at our Markham facility, welcoming families from Markham, Stouffville and surrounding communities. As a Gymnastics Ontario member club, Leap offers professionally led birthday parties in our dedicated gymnastics facility, combining structured gymnastics activities with time to celebrate with family and friends. Choose from three party packages based on your group size, celebration space and included extras.

A gymnastics birthday celebration designed for smaller groups, with one hour of coach-led gymnastics followed by one hour to celebrate together.
- 2-Hour Party: 1 hour of coach-led gymnastics followed by 1 hour for food, cake and celebration.
- Gymnastics Experience: Children take part in structured, coach-led gymnastics activities using a variety of gymnastics equipment, circuits, obstacle challenges and group activities. Activities are adapted to the age and experience of the party group.
- Celebration Area: Celebration time takes place in the designated main gym celebration area. A private party room is not included with the Basic Package.
- Included: Children’s tableware, including napkins, cutlery, cups and plates, is provided. We also take care of cleanup after the party.
- Birthday Child Gift: The birthday child receives a loot bag.
- Decorations: Decorations are not included. Families may bring tabletop or freestanding decorations. Wall-mounted or hanging decorations are not permitted.
- Parents Provide: Food such as pizza, sandwiches, fruit or packaged snacks, cake or cupcakes, drinks, decorations if desired and any additional party favours.
A private birthday celebration with extended gymnastics time, full-party access to a private party room, balloon décor, guest favours and an additional birthday gift for the birthday child.
- 2-Hour Party: 1 hour and 15 minutes of coach-led gymnastics followed by 45 minutes for food, cake and celebration.
- Gymnastics Experience: Children take part in structured, coach-led gymnastics activities using a variety of gymnastics equipment, circuits, obstacle challenges and group activities. Activities are adapted to the age and experience of the party group.
- Private Party Room: Full-party access to a private party room throughout your booked time, with 45 minutes reserved for food, cake and celebration.
- Private Party: Your celebration is the only birthday party scheduled during your booked time.
- Décor: Standard balloon décor is included in one colour selected from white, pink, blue, gold, purple or green. Families may also bring tabletop or freestanding decorations if desired. Wall-mounted or hanging decorations are not permitted.
- Birthday Child: The birthday child receives a loot bag plus a surprise birthday gift.
- Guest Party Favours: One small party favour item is included for each participating child, up to 16 children. The favour may be a mini fidget toy, sticker sheet, bracelet, pencil or similar small item and may vary based on availability.
- Included: Children’s tableware, including napkins, cutlery, cups and plates, is provided. We also take care of cleanup after the party.
- Parents Provide: Food such as pizza, sandwiches, fruit or packaged snacks, cake or cupcakes and drinks. Families may bring additional tabletop or freestanding decorations if desired.
Our most complete private birthday experience, with extended gymnastics time, full-party access to a private party room, custom balloon décor, loot bags for participating children, beverages and an upgraded birthday gift.

- Private Party Room: Full-party access to a private party room throughout your booked time, with 45 minutes reserved for food, cake and celebration.
- Private Party: Your celebration is the only birthday party scheduled during your booked time.
- Décor: A custom half balloon garland is included in one or two colours selected from white, pink, blue, gold, purple or green. The included garland may be upgraded to a themed balloon design for an additional $80, subject to availability and staff confirmation. Additional decorations must be tabletop or freestanding. Wall-mounted or hanging decorations are not permitted.
- Beverages Included: Freshly brewed coffee for adults, and juice boxes and bottled water for participating children. Tea bags will also be provided.
- Guest Loot Bags: One loot bag is included for each participating child, up to 20 children.
- Birthday Child: In addition to their loot bag, the birthday child receives an upgraded surprise birthday gift.
- Included: Children’s tableware, including napkins, cutlery, cups and plates, is provided. We also take care of cleanup after the party.
- Parents Provide: Food such as pizza, sandwiches, fruit or packaged snacks and cake or cupcakes.
Optional Add-Ons
Available by request and subject to staff confirmation. Please arrange add-ons before your party; celebration extensions may also be requested on the day, subject to availability. Approved add-ons are applied to your final party payment.
Additional Children:
- Basic Package:$15 per additional child
- Premium Package:$20 per additional child
- Deluxe Package:$25 per additional child
Additional-child fees apply when the number of participating children exceeds the number included in the selected package. The maximum capacity is 24 participating children.
Themed Balloon Garland Upgrade ($80): Upgrade the custom half balloon garland already included with the Deluxe Package to a themed balloon design. Subject to availability and staff confirmation. The upgrade applies to the balloon décor only and does not include full themed party décor.
Beverage Station ($40): Includes freshly brewed coffee for adults, and juice boxes and bottled water for participating children. Tea bags will also be provided.
Available as an add-on to the Premium Package and included with the Deluxe Package. Not available with the Basic Package.
Guest Loot Bags ($7 each): Add loot bags for participating guests to a Basic or Premium Package. Basic and Premium already include a loot bag for the birthday child. Deluxe includes one loot bag for each participating child, up to 20 children.
Extended Celebration Time ($40 per additional 30 minutes): Available for all packages, subject to facility availability and staff confirmation. Extensions are for the celebration portion only and do not include additional gymnastics activities or use of gym equipment.
Important: All families must leave promptly at the scheduled party end time, or the extended end time confirmed by staff, so our team can clean, reset, and prepare the facility for the next celebration.
Ready to book a party?
New birthday party bookings are offered Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30–3:30 PM. Existing bookings retain their confirmed times. A $100 deposit reserves your party date and time.
After booking, please complete the Birthday Party Details Form so our team can confirm your package selection, participating child count, decoration details, food plans and any optional add-ons.
The remaining balance, HST, and any approved add-ons are paid during the party by e-transfer to info@leapgymnastics.ca.
Arrival & Departure: Host families may arrive up to 10 minutes before the scheduled party start time to drop off food, cake, and party items. Guests should arrive at the scheduled party start time. All families must leave promptly at the scheduled party end time, or the extended end time confirmed by staff, so our team can clean, reset, and prepare the facility for the next celebration.
Booking Policies
Schedule & Participation: All children participating in the gymnastics portion must be able to participate independently, without parent or caregiver accompaniment on the gym floor, and remain with the group assigned by our coaches. Children who are not able to participate independently are welcome to remain with their parent or guardian in the viewing or celebration area but cannot participate in the gymnastics activities.
Deposit & Payment: A $100 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold your date. This deposit is refundable only if cancelled with at least 15 days’ notice. The remaining balance, HST, and any approved add-ons are finalized with staff and paid during the party by e-transfer to info@leapgymnastics.ca.
Changes & Cancellations: We require a minimum of 15 days' notice for any cancellations or date change requests. All changes are subject to facility availability.
After You Book
Once your birthday party date and time are reserved through Uplifter with the $100 deposit, please complete the Birthday Party Details Form.

Every child participating in the gymnastics portion must have a Participant Consent Form completed by their own parent or guardian before entering the gym. Please share the consent-form link with invited families before the party.
Facility Notes & Reminders
Food Guidelines: Families may bring simple children’s party food such as pizza, sandwiches, fruit, packaged snacks, cake or cupcakes.
Hot catered meals, buffet-style food, heavily sauced dishes, and food requiring reheating, warming equipment or extensive serving and cleanup are not permitted.
Footwear: For safety and cleanliness, parents and guests must wear socks in the viewing area and party room.
Decorations: Decorations must be tabletop or freestanding. Wall-mounted or hanging decorations are not permitted. Tape, adhesive hooks, pins, tacks or other fasteners may not be used on facility walls.
Parent & Guest Access: Parents and guardians are welcome to stay in the viewing or celebration area. Parents of invited children may also drop them off; however, the birthday child’s parent or guardian must remain on site throughout the party. During the gymnastics portion, Leap coaches supervise and lead participating children on the gym floor. During celebration time, the birthday family hosts their invited guests in the celebration area. Only participating children and Leap Gymnastics staff are permitted on the gym floor or gymnastics equipment.
Waivers: Every child participating in the gymnastics portion must have a Participant Consent Form completed by their own parent or guardian before entering the gym. Please share the consent-form link with invited families before the party.
Taxes: HST is additional on all party packages and add-ons.
